Mechanical Design Engineer- Cardinal Scientific Inc. of Waldorf, MD has an immediate opportunity
for Mechanical Design Engineer. The
ideal candidate must be mechanically creative and have
imaginative problem solving skills and the ability to
apply them in a product development environment. We
are looking for a self-starting, motivated individual
to exercise technical leadership and vision. You
will use the latest solids modeling, finite element, and CAM technology to turn concepts into reality. Knowledge of traditional and CNC machine tools, waterjet cutting and emerging engineering and manufacturing technologies is fundamental. Production Assistant- Cardinal Scientific Inc. of Waldorf, MD has a current opportunity for
Production Assistant. The ideal candidate will have excellent skills working with his/her hands to build, assemble and fabricate various mechanical assemblies. Production Assistants have the responsibility for fabrication and assembly of all mechanical, prototypes, and production builds. Basic knowledge of computers and hand/power tools required. Shift responsibilities also include routine machine maintenance, shop organization and production area cleanup. An understanding and/or experience with machine shop practices and reading mechanical drawings a plus.

Waterjet Operator (2nd shift)- Cardinal Scientific Inc. of Waldorf, MD has a current opportunity for
Waterjet Operator (2nd shift). The ideal candidate must have CAD experience, a strong work ethic and a basic conceptual understanding of abrasive waterjet machines. Waterjet Operators at CSI have full shift responsibilities including CAD set-up, quote estimations, material ordering, material handling, machine operation, minor secondary operations, packaging, clean-up and minor machine maintenance.
